Sund IF was one of 24 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Mid Nordic Lucia Cup 2017. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 13, Pojkar 15 and Pojkar 17 respectively. The team in Pojkar 15 made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against Kubikenborgs IF P03 by 1-2.
In addition to this, Sund IF have participated in Mid Nordic Lucia Cup before. During Mid Nordic Lucia Cup 2016, Sund had two teams playing in Pojkar 13/14 and Pojkar 11/12 respectively. Two teams played until in Gruppspel; Pojkar 13/14 P02/03 won over Kubikenborgs IF P03 by 2-0 and Pojkar 11/12 04/05 won over Sidsjö-Böle IF by 2-0. Sund comes from Sundsbruk which lies approximately 6 km from Sörberge, where Mid Nordic Lucia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsbruk does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Mid Nordic Lucia Cup 2017 (Among others: Sidsjö-Böle, Essviks AIF, Alnö IF, Blue Islanders, Heffnerklubbans BK, SDFF Plus, Kubikenborgs if, Essvik AIF, IFK Timrå and Sidsjö-Böle IF). 12 games playedGoals |
